Toronto, ON – Matt Lang shares “Jukebox Money,” the second single from his upcoming album Ain’t That Bad, set for release on October 23, 2026 via Symphonic Distribution. The song continues the story introduced with “She Stole My Truck,” which is currently the #4 English song on the Canadian Francophone radio chart. Following that explosive introduction, this new track takes listeners into the heart of a night that’s as unpredictable as it is unforgettable.
As a reminder, the story begins when Matt heads to the bar after work for a few beers… only to have his truck stolen by a mysterious woman. While chasing after her, he stops at a convenience store and discovers a suitcase full of cash in the bathroom, a fortune that becomes the starting point of his wild night in “Jukebox Money.”
The single tells the immediate continuation of the story: after getting his hands on the money, Matt is swept into a night of freedom and recklessness. Driven by an upbeat, celebratory rhythm, the song perfectly captures the energy of a typical Friday night in a country bar. Co-produced by Grammy-nominated Danick Dupelle and Matt Lang, the track embodies the feeling of freedom and carefree abandon that comes with a night when you decide to let the unknown take the wheel.
The music video, directed by Agence Ranch and Forêt Sauvage Films in the cinematic spirit that connects the album’s songs, features several well-known personalities from Quebec: Benoît Gagnon, Hugo Girard, Patsy Gallant and Emmanuel Auger. The video reveals a key moment in the Ain’t That Bad storyline. After buying himself a flashy suit and paying cash for a car at a dealership with the money he found, Matt finds himself drawn into an underground poker game where wealthy players gather.
After a few winning rounds and a growing sense of invincibility, he bets everything he has… before leaving the table in an unexpected twist, walking away with only a few dollars he discreetly swiped – turning this night of excess into a daring escape.
With “Jukebox Money”, Matt Lang continues the narrative thread of his concept album Ain’t That Bad, whose full story will be revealed when the album is released on October 23. The next chapter is coming… and the night is far from over.
“‘Jukebox Money’ was such a fun one to record and film. This project is really giving me the freedom to be creative and push my limits, both musically and visually. I loved exploring this story and bringing it to life. It’s been a blast from start to finish,” said Matt Lang
